Description
Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 is a shooting game that allows the player to choose between the first-person view or what is commonly called "Over The Shoulder" (on the shoulders). The highlight of the game is due to the requirement of patience and strategic sense of player, plus the need to command a small squad of three elite members of the army, helicopters, reconnaissance and spies even a battle tank M1A2 type, Abrams and other tanks.
As for gameplay, the vision of the player is assisted by a special glasses that shows details of the mission, location of allies and enemies. The way forward is represented by a yellow box, the allies of the squad by blue arrows and enemies by red diamonds. The goals, in turn, are constantly updated by a general who always reserve you new and unexpected challenges. The plot takes place in Mexico in a civil war where rebel separatist groups are about to take over the country and be armed with nuclear warheads.
Get in the role of the protagonist, Sgt. Mitchell, who must venture through deserts, urban landscapes and even cemeteries to defeat a legion of soldiers. The amount of weapons is great and will be released gradually and can be chosen at various times of the game, as his team can be arranged with soldiers, snipers, grenadiers and soldiers equipped with antitank weapons.
The graphics are excellent and the blinding lights effect, the desert dust and other natural adversities are very well represented in the game, giving a very convincing realism. The soundtrack is present all the time, discreetly helping to give the atmosphere that the game asks.
