Description
Daedalic Entertainment returns to the fray with a new adventure this time with Gene and his team Mocsy, far removed both in form and content with its predecessors, as is the entire series of Deponia. In 1954 Alcatraz transport us to the Bay of San Francisco of the '50s, a time when the notorious prison of Alcatraz, also called "The Rock" had already gained fame with which it is known today. There have been imprisoned Al Capone and Robert Straud, among others, and has anyone ever managed to escape. 1954: Alcatraz drink a lot of classic black cinema and manages also to capture the dark and criminal environment surrounding our two main characters: Joe and Christine, couple is separated by a crime of which the first accused. We started the game with Joe recently imprisoned in Alcatraz and after getting to talk to Christine, we understand that our primary mission throughout the game will be impossible to escape the fortress. match surprises us with a much more adult than usual frame in adventure games - with apologies to The Walking Dead Telltale. Here are treated with a naturalness that positively scandalized topics not usually common in black films of the time, nor usually see in other adventure games so explicitly. We talked specifically about how people speak of homosexuality and, to a lesser degree but not least, sex and violence, among others.
